Evening Menu

Our restaurant has a lovely atmosphere that will make your meal relaxing and enjoyable. Our evening menu is subject to minor changes as the seasons dictate and the availability of fresh produce. A small selection is detailed here please contact us for a full menu.

The Menu

Our Famous Ham & Eggs a 16 oz.slice of Wensleydale Gammon which we griddle with two free range eggs and pineapple.£13.50
The half honey roast duck is served with a fruit sauce£14.50
And the Lamb in minted gravy falls off the bone and is large enough to satisfy all appetites.£14.50
While the Steak and Ale Pie using local ale goes down a treat.£12.95
We only use the very best of locally produced beef for our Fillet Steaks which we serve with a pepper sauce or with onions & mushrooms.£15.95
The trout is caught locally and filled with apricots before it is grilled in butter£13.50
Our biggest seller the Rabbit Pie has a savoury crust protecting blackpudding & bacon.£12.95

All of the above are served with a selection of fresh vegetables and potatoes and their presentation varies depending on the whim of the chef!

Our daytime menu remains generally the same throughout the year with just minor changes.

But we always serve our traditional Ham & Eggs along with a home made pie of the day,

plus lots of snacks, soups and scones. If you require a more detailed menu please ask. We are always happy to accommodate walking or visiting groups and will arrange a menu to suit your needs.

We reserve the right to change the prices listed at any time without warning.

Because we are a Temperance Inn we cannot sell you any alcohol.

However you are most welcome to bring along the drinks of your choice when you dine with us. We will provide corkscrews and glasses but there is no corkage charge.

We do though have a definite No Smoking policy.
